Swing Cap LLC, which does business under the brand BrightKoda (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (brightkoda.org), use Koda software (KodaConnect, KodaOnboard, SkillBridge, KodaOps, KodaOnCall, KodaComply, KodaNursing, KodaCRM and KodaPrivateVA), or receive text messages from us.
BrightKoda does not provide home care and does not hire caregivers. Home care services and caregiver jobs are offered by the home care companies that use Koda software, each on its own website and under its own privacy policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Contact Details: Name, organization, email address and phone number, when you contact us about Koda software
- Account and Sign-In Information: The mobile number and email address used to sign in to Koda software, and records of sign-in codes requested (never the codes themselves in readable form)
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, device information
- Communications: Records of your inquiries and correspondence with us, and of your sign-in text consents and opt-outs
3. Information We Process for Our Customers
Home care companies use Koda software to keep records about their caregivers, clients and families, and to send them text messages. For that information, the home care company decides what is collected and how it is used, and we process it on the company's behalf under our agreement with it. If you have a question about that information, please contact the home care company directly; we will help it respond.
BrightKoda is a software provider. Home care companies that use Koda software send text messages to their own clients, caregivers and applicants under their own registered texting programs and in their own names. BrightKoda sends those messages on their behalf and does not use the numbers or the consent for any other purpose.
The home care companies that use Koda software are: X-Treme Care LLC, Complete Homecare Inc, MaxCare HCBS LLC, Complete Homecare Ohio LLC, Complete Homecare Michigan LLC, Complete Homecare Indiana LLC, We Care Home Care Agency LLC d/b/a Complete Home Care NJ, Universal Home Care and Services, Inc d/b/a Complete Homecare GA, Complete Homecare Missouri LLC, Lunera Care LLC d/b/a Patient Bridge Health. Each has its own website, privacy policy and SMS terms, linked from our SMS Terms & Opt-In page.
4. SMS / Text Messaging
BrightKoda runs one text messaging program in its own name, described in full on our SMS Terms & Opt-In page:
- BrightKoda sign-in codes: one-time codes sent to users of Koda software when they ask for a code on the sign-in screen. These are security messages only and are never marketing.
- Texts from home care companies: shift reminders, training links, on-call replies, application updates and similar messages are sent by the home care company you work with or receive care from, under its own registered program and its own SMS terms. You agree to those messages by ticking the texting box on a form on that company's own website, never on this website.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
Help: Reply HELP to any SMS message for assistance, or email privacy@brightkoda.org.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our services.
Costs: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
No Purchased Lists: We do not use purchased, shared, or third-party contact lists. Sign-in codes are sent only to people who ask for one on a sign-in screen.
Never Marketing: Sign-in codes are security messages. BrightKoda does not send marketing text messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third party.
5. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to inquiries about Koda software
- To sign you in securely to Koda software
- To send SMS messages you have consented to receive
- To improve our websites, services, and technology products
- To comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements
